Led Head Bicycle
I have a mini-bike and want to make road legal. How?
Heloha. Look, I had one of these bikes Stingray (bicycle that looks like a motorcycle) sitting in my shed and decided, instead of letting the rust and turn to dust, I'll turn it into a mini-moto. I have an engine eats grass, LED key light, back light, LED turn signals work, and LED brake lights work attributed to him. Therefore, I flip a switch for turn signals (up / right, bottom left) I hit the brake, the brake light comes on, my headlight and Tail Light are connected to the same switch (flip the switch, both on). As So I know I would have dishes, and a motorcycle license, but is that all that is required, or is there more to that I'm missing?
Your question is impossible to answer. These requirements vary from state / prov. to another. Some are as simple as having either (not even DOT approved) lite head, tail / brake lite and a horn. Others are very difficult DOT adding blinkers and exhaust emissions. Also the size is important, in most states under 50cc is considered a motor cycle not a motorcycle. Contact your County Clerk and Recorder (or who sells plates where you live, too may be the Ministry of Transportation, Department of Public Safety or the DMV in some states / provs)
