A great set of wheels 700c good (at a reasonable price)?

I'm a cyclist. I especially like the look of a hipster and I try to keep things simple on my bike (ie no bull horns, deep Vs, and a freewheel not a fixie). I had my wheels for over a year and put a considerable amount miles of them. My rear wheel has recently so I'm really thinking about truing it, sell it and buy a new wheelset. The only problem is that I have Strong wheels, even more durable! These were about $ 50 per wheel (Mach 1), which is dirt cheap … What are some good quality and good wheels price? I do not need deep-Vs with neon colors or speed, but something that will face a lot of potholes on roads and urban terrain. Thanks in advance!

If you are looking for a reliable wheel. A hand-built 32-spoke wheel is still always the most reliable. Get the normal bowl no, no radios if you want the parts are easily replaceable. Schwinn Le Tour Wheel Size *NEED ANSWER*?

I have a Schwinn Le Tour 12.2. I am building it into a fixie. I need to know if these wheels will work with my bike. Width and all that stuff.

Well, you have all the information at your fingertips. Let your fingers do the walking.

Measure the distance between the rear dropouts, then ask the seller to provide you with the hub width over the locknuts. I imagine that the hub width will be 120mm if they are really track wheels. The frame could be 120, 126mm, or 130mm. The front wheel should be OK.

Your problem will be with brake reach if the bike originally had 27″ wheels… the brakes, if you choose to have them, will not reach low enough to fully engage the 700C rim. Additionally you will likely end up with a goofy ride since the LeTour was developed for multi speed use and the geometry is all wrong for fixie/Single Speed… but if you’ve never ridden a Track Bike you wouldn’t know anyway.

I still don’t get this fixie craze.
